Who We Are
Rev. Dr. Carmen Gaud and Rev. Dr. Diana Hynson
Carmen and Diana are United Methodist elders, now retired and living in Lebanon, PA. Both served local churches for several years before taking appointments with United Methodist agencies in Nashville, TN.
Carmen (left) earned her Master of Divinity (M. Div). from Seminario Evangelico de Puerto Rico, and her Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) in Religion and Personality from Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville, TN.
Diana (right) earned her M.Div. from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC., as well as her D. Min. in Christian Education.
Both served as editors of curriculum resources at The United Methodist Publishing House. From there, Carmen moved to The Upper Room as the editor of El Aposento Alto (The Upper Room magazine in Spanish). Diana moved to Discipleship Ministries as the Director of Learning and Teaching Ministries.
Diana and Carmen are both seasoned Bible study and small group leaders.
The Mission: Reaching Out
We do not want to compete with existing ministries; rather we hope to complement local church Christian education and formation by reaching people who hunger for community, for deeper understanding of Scripture and their faith, and who want or need this connection on-line.
