1. I don’t have email, a computer, or internet.
We are encouraging churches to establish small home groups or at-church groups where there is access to a computer or tablet and internet connection.
2. I would rather listen.
That’s ok, though you will be invited to participate in safe ways. One of the benefits of the sessions is the connection and interaction with other persons of faith.
3. Do I have to have material printed?
No. handouts will be uploaded to this website in the Document Center, and you can print them if you want to. Ideally, handouts should be in front of you, in print, because they are easier to see, but they will also be on-line.
4. What if I can’t attend all the sessions.
You will be missed, but you gotta do what you gotta do!
5. Will I need a Bible? Yes, usually. Preferably the New Revised Standard Version or New International Version, but your favorite translation is ok. Please do not use a paraphrase.
6. I’m just a beginner and don’t want to be overwhelmed.
Take it at your own pace and receive what you can. There are no stupid questions here, and there is room for a variety of theological approaches (which can make for lively conversation).
